A Note From Chris #218

Adversity

How you handle even minor adversity might seem like nothing, but, in fact, it reveals everything.

We fall to the level of our training rather than rise to the occasion.

Do you get angry when your order is wrong, do you close up when challenged over insignificant details. Being aware is the first step. No BS, pure unfiltered,  non judgemental self awareness.  Awareness puts you 90% of the way towards changing how you respond.

The next step is understanding how you wish to be perceived and what you must do to generate a better response. Once you know this what is your "if then" command? If I am challenged then I will take a breath and ask for further clarity on their argument to allow me time to think.

Knowing is not enough, putting into practice is the only metric that counts.
